Objectives:
- the student will know how to hold the shot properly
- the student will know how to throw using power position
- the student will understand the difference between using a reverse and a block
Activity 1: Read & Discuss
- Students will read about holding the shot and how to throw it using a power position students will use a blog to discuss the advantages of using a reverse instead of a block

Activity 2: Video Instruction
- This video will reinforce the reading by demonstrating how to hold the shot and the steps of power position throwing
Activity 3: Activity 3: Using some “power”
- In this activity we will reinforce the skills learned in the previous video.
Directions:
1.Practice holding the shot as learned in the video (a softball or baseball can substitute).
2.Complete 15 reps of the power position as used in the previous video.
3. Use the chart to track your progress.
