Objectives:
- The student will understand the three different types of throws
- The student will know the history and origins of shot putting
- The student will know the basic rules of throwing shot put
Activity 1: Read & Discuss
- Students will read about the history and rules of Shot Putting then they will discuss the styles of throwing the shot and make an educated guess on which one is the most effective and explain this reasoning
